I do not own any printed exemplars, not that I miss them. My "crib" is just as small as a Japanese flat, so having all the mangas that make me smile would leave me staying out in the street, out of room inside the house to shelter from the rain.
I was re- reading Kokoa Fujiwara's work... Inu X Boku SS. I think that for most of us, newfound otakus, this is one of the most relevant works in the manga world. While there are others that know it only from the anime short-series, it is rare the one who knows about this work and says: "meh!" in regards to the complexity of the overall storyline and the connection of the characters.
The fact that it is a fantasy surrounding or that the characters themselves are a mixture of reality and fantasy matter little to the plot.

| That desire to "dispose" of Miketsukami-chan... |
Yet, I can't stop smiling each time I read how Miketsukami, a very passive sadist, always get what HE wants despite whatever anyone else wants. So much a reflection of the Japanese society, but then again, of all societies where women seek men that are "kind, committed, devoted and mild"... hahaha
It would seem that "we" women have achieved our "independence" but in truth we are only seeking for such characters, that softly and behind the facade of being mild and moderate, they "guide us" and "coherce us to do their will.
